I've never sat back and planned an album, outlined where I wanted it to go, thought about the feelings I wanted to give off. With how grim things can look now with this pandemic on top of the world's many other giant problems, I really wanted to give myself, and give us, a warm fire to toast our hands in (even if it's a dumpster fire).
